LeBron James talks about Kobe Bryant’s work ethic in an old interview
LeBron and Kobe have faced each other on several occasions. LeBron has a 16-6 record over Kobe Bryant in the NBA. In an old interview during the 2015-16 season, James admitted that Kobe acted as a motivation to work hard. He also talked about Kobe’s insane work ethic back then.
“I knew I had to be better because of Kobe Bryant,” James said during the 15-16 season.
“I knew he was in the gym and I knew he was working on his game. So every day that I didn’t want to work out or every day I felt like I couldn’t give more, I always thought of Kobe. Because I knew that he was getting better and I was like, ‘Man, if you take a day off, he’s going to take advantage of it.'”
