Doctor claims LeBron James’ injury not severe

Given that Bron suffered from an injury to the same leg he had suffered the high ankle sprain on, fans and pundits have been very concerned regarding the 4-time MVP’s health. But Lakers’ injury expert certainly is unfazed by Bron’s latest injury.

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar who has a doctorate in physical therapy, LBJ’s latest injury isn’t that serious. “He’s not in all that much pain and he was able to play through the game without any real deficits. He had soreness and was listed as probable.”

“If this was a serious injury he would have been ruled out immediately. The reason he’s likely missed the last two games is that because the level of soreness has not dissipated to the level that the training staff is comfortable with.”

He explained why the medical staff is being so conservative in the first place. “It’s a very good approach because when it comes to lower body injuries, especially near the foot and ankle area, trying to push through and actually then lead to significant knock-on effects. Overall, I’m not all that concerned and I think this is the team being very conservative with LeBron.”

The Lakers certainly know how importance health is for the veteran heavy Lakers. Moreover, with a superstar like Russell Westbrook added to the team, the team has a new superstar to keep the boat afloat when LBJ isn’t fit. Do you think the Lakers are taking the right step by not playing LeBron?
