Los Angeles Lakers lost their second game of the season as well after a winless preseason campaign. The Lakers lost the game 105-115 against Phoenix Suns at the Staples Center. LeBron James led the scoring chart of the game, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a second consecutive loss at home.
Despite a lot of buzz regarding the ‘super team’, the Lakers have failed to show their firepower on the court. The 2nd successive home loss has left Lakers players frustrated. We can only imagine how Lakers fans would be feeling now.
King James and Anthony Davis sat down for the post-game press conference to answer some tough questions following the defeat. LeBron admitted that the ’emotional side of things’ got the better of the team against the Suns.

LeBron James admits that the emotions got the best of the Lakers, leading to 2nd consecutive loss
Lakers stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James came forward for the post-game interview after their loss against the Suns. LeBron reflected upon the loss and admitted that the emotions overruled their better judgment and impeded on securing a win.
“We got to do a better job of not allowing calls that we feel like should have went our way stop us from what our goal is on the floor. There were some very very difficult calls that we felt like should’ve went our way. “We were kind of too worried about what they were calling and what they were not. So I think the emotional side got to us tonight.”

The Lakers had a disappointing outing against the Suns as they failed to capitalize on their lead in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
