Los Angeles Lakers are struggling this season despite so many top additions during the summer. The Lakers were busy throughout the off-season and did a roster overhaul. However, they have been dependent on LeBron James more than ever this season. Russell Westbrook has failed to settle in and has been facing a lot of criticism for his performance.
King James has been carrying the Lakers single-handedly this season. James has received little help from the other starters since Anthony Davis‘ injury. The Lakers are on .500 this season so far and sit 7th in the Western Conference table. Westbrook has played all 42 games this season and is averaging 18.7 points per game. The ‘triple double’ king hasn’t lived up to the expectations this season and is facing a lot of criticism.

Former NBA star Kwame Brown recently reacted to the viral video of LeBron checking the stats with Westbrook beside him.
Brown said that Kobe wouldn’t have done that and called out LeBron for doing the same.
“I looked at a video when he showed LeBron watching the stat sheet on the bench, and I looked at Russell. I looked at his face as he looked at a man watching the stat sheet in the middle of the game. And when I saw brother LeBron watching the stat sheet,” Kwame Brown said.

“Ain’t nowhere in the hell Kobe Bryant would have never done that. Matter of fact, if Kobe Bryant would have caught anybody doing that, it’s on you. Might get jacked up if the leader of the team is doing that. Then you can see videos of him standing on defense. It’s like what are you really doing. What are you really out here for at this point? Because that’s not basketball and that summed it up why the Lakers are losing.”
Westbrook is having a hard time with the Lakers. While the Lakers might have second thoughts on signing him during the off-season, Westbrook is happy in LA. He is determined to prove himself for the Lakers.
