Kevin Durant is not worried about Kyrie Irving’s ability to adjust
A reporter asked him what he felt about Kyrie’s part-time return. Moreover, he specifically asked him what he felt about his ability to adjust to only playing half the games.
To which Durant said, “Have you watched him play? He’s a master. He can score 60 to 70% of his shots if you don’t guard him. He’s a high IQ player. It’s just a matter of him getting his legs up under him, his wind up under him. And for us you know, we’re going to run plays for him, we’re going to try to look for him. We play team basketball. He can adapt and do anything out there so we don’t worry about him.”

When will Kyrie Irving play his first game after last season?
After clearing all the Health and Safety protocols of the NBA, we expect Kyrie Irving to be back around January 5 or after. So, he might be back when the Nets face the Pacers. He might even come back later in the game against the Chicago Bulls.
The only away games that Kyrie will miss are the ones at Madison Square Garden and against Toronto. This is because New York and Canada still have a vaccine mandate in place.
