Philadelphia 76ers and Memphis Grizzlies are set to face each other in an exciting clash on 31st January. Both the Sixers and the Grizzlies have been amazing this season and sit third in their respective conference table. It is going to be Joel Embiid vs Ja Morant when the sides fight for a win tomorrow.

Joel Embiid has been in fine form this season and is a top contender for the MVP award this season. He recently scored 36 points against the Kings as the Sixers registered their 30th win of the season. Embiid also recorded 12 rebounds and 6 assists in 35 mins vs. the Kings. It’s safe to say he is ready for the Grizzlies clash.

The Grizzlies, on the other side, won emphatically against the Wizards. Ja Morant was on top form against the Wizards as he recorded 34 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. After the win against the Kings, Joel Embiid talked about the team’s next game against the Grizzlies.

Joel Embiid talks about Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies ahead of clash on 31st January

Joel Embiid appeared before the media after scoring 36 points vs. the Kings. During the post-game interview, he admitted that the Grizzlies are a good team with or without Ja Morant.

“They got a pretty good team, obviously, with or without him (Ja Morant),” Joel Embiid said.

“(During) the games he missed, I think they were 10-2 or something like that. So, they got a pretty good team.”

Ja Morant has been one of the best players in the league this season. In a recent clash against the Jazz, he broke the franchise record with a triple-double. Morant recorded 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists vs the Jazz. It was the highest-scoring triple-double in Memphis Grizzlies’ history.

The Grizzlies are currently on a 3-game winning win and have been 7-3 in their last 10 games. The Sixers, on the other side, are on a 4-game winning streak and face the Grizzlies on 31st this month.
