James Harden was a part of a blockbuster deadline day trade involving Ben Simmons. The 76ers have got one of the best NBA players in Harden, but the 32-year-old has failed to adapt with the Rockets and the Nets in the past 2 years. This has led to him being traded twice in around a year. A video of him admitting complacency during his Rockets days has emerged, which has enraged NBA fans.
Harden joined the Nets last year and formed a trio with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Harden demanded a trade back in 2020, but that couldn’t happen ahead of the 2020-21 season. But he was finally traded in January 2021 to the Nets. Now, Harden is a 76er and will try his luck in Philly.
However, recently a video has emerged where Harden admitted to staying up all night with rappers Lil Durk, Meek Mill, and Lil Baby during his Houston days. He also added that he used to go to the Rockets practice straight from there. Harden said: “They (Durk, Meek, and Lil Baby) come in the studio and I’m up with them the whole time and I go right from the studio, 7:30 a.m., right to practice. I can’t miss this opportunity.”

James Harden started his career with the Thunder and spent three seasons in Oklahoma. However, he failed to agree to a contract extension with them and was traded to the Rockets in 2012. Harden became a vital player for the Houston-based franchise and spent nine years with them before demanding a trade.
The Rockets finally conceded to Harden’s demands in January last year and traded him to the Nets. But now the 2018 MVP is in Philly in search of his first NBA championship.
