Brooklyn Nets registered their 26th win of the season as they beat the high-flying Bulls at the United Center. Kevin Durant and James Harden scored 27 and 25 points, respectively, to guide the Nets to an important away win. Kyrie Irving started the game as well but didn’t impress in what was his 3rd start of the season.
It was a crucial game for both the Bulls and the Nets as they’re fighting for the top spot in the eastern conference. The Bulls started the game a bit slowly and were behind by 7 points after the 1st quarter.
However, they managed to cut down the lead to 2 points before half-time. The Nets then had an insane 3rd quarter that finished 39-19 in their favor. The Bulls couldn’t control the repeated offense from the Nets and lost the game by 26 points.

While Durant and Harden impressed, Kyrie Irving looked a little lost at times and scored just 9 points in 25 mins. After the game, Harden opened up on the hopes of Kyrie playing in the home games this season.

James Harden still hoping that Kyrie Irving could play home games this season
Nets star James Harden appeared before the media after their emphatic win over the Bulls. Harden was asked if he still has hope that Kyrie Irving will be able to play in the home games this season.
Harden smiled at the question and answered: “I’m going to give him the shot.”

Kyrie recorded 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists against the Bulls. But he has entered the court after a long gap and he will take some time to settle. The Nets have been facing injury issues in the past few days and hence decided to call Kyrie for the away games this season.

Brooklyn Nets, despite the win, are 2nd on the eastern conference table with a 26-14 record. They have lost five of the last 10 games. The Nets now face the Thunder at home and will be looking forward to winning the game despite Kyrie’s absence.
