Los Angeles Lakers went through a massive roster overhaul during the off-season in a bid to challenge for the 2021-22 championship. However, they have been struggling to perform with their new signings and are heavily dependent on LeBron James. But some of the off-season departures have been performing well since leaving the Lakers, with Alex Caruso being one of them.

Alex Caruso had signed a two-year contract with the Lakers in 2019, which ended last summer. He became an unrestricted free agent after the 2020-21 season and signed with the Bulls in August 2021.

Caruso later revealed that the Lakers offered him a startling low contract of fewer than 2 years in free agency. It’s past now and Caruso has started making noise as a Bull. He recently made an insane LeBron-Esque chase-down block in the Cavs vs Heat fixture.
