Despite so many reactions, no one can deny the fact that Beverley is one of the best defenders in the NBA. He doesn’t post overwhelming numbers like some of the greats of the game, but anyone who watches him knows how important his role is. His statement may sound a bit absurd, but Minnesota Timberwolves fans would love this from Beverley. The Timberwolves had a defensive rating of 115 last season and will be looking to improve on those numbers with Beverley on board.
