NBA insider gives incredible update on Ben Simmons’ future

While the Simmons trade saga has been fairly quite, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski recently dropped his trademark Woj bomb on twitter. According to Wojnarowski, the 25-year-old won’t be reporting to training camp which is starting in a couple of weeks.

Not only that, Simmons is unwilling to take part in a single game for the 76ers in the upcoming season. While the 76ers are adamant about not trading the 3-time All-Star and might possibly issue fines and sanctions, Simmons is willing to accept it all.

This is certainly some big news for 76ers fans all around the globe. While it is clear that the 25-year-old’s future is all-set, Philly finally have the chance to add the right player alongside Joel Embiid who has a perimeter based game.

But eyeing for such a move is certainly a big gamble for Philly. Given that Simmons is in a hefty contract and is entering his prime years, executive Daryl Morey is might consider a valuable All-Star and some drafts as the ideal trade deal. But considering the Australian’s dramatic exit, will teams be willing to take the risk?

Twitter goes berserk after Simmons’ update

NBA twitter went absolutely crazy upon hearing that Simmons’ departure from Philly is imminent. While many resorted to trolling the 3-time All-Star, many even tweeted that other teams trade for the Australian.
