Why would fans confuse Embiid’s tweet?

One reason for people’s confusion might be the fact that not everyone is aware of AFCON 2022. Though they might know about the event, they might not be aware of the schedule. Furthermore, this could be connected to what Shaquille O’Neal said about Simmons very recently. The NBA legend has often referred to Simmons as a ‘soft’ player who is not stepping up and playing alongside Embiid.
