The Los Angeles Lakers have built a massive roster for the coming season. They already had the likes of LeBron James and Anthony Davis at their disposal and still went shopping during the off-season. They have added some top NBA veterans to their roster, such as Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, DeAndre Jordan, among others.
But building a ‘super team’ is not the only way of winning titles, as the Bucks proved last season. A team that can get along with each other on and off the court can win titles. The Lakers players, who were rivals until last season, are now getting along quite well with each other.

While playing alongside LeBron, Howard has averaged 1.2 blocks per game in 65 games. Bet LeBron knows that and has challenged him to manage two blocks per half.
Howard and LeBron have been rivals for a long time. While the latter was the No.1 pick in the 2003 draft, the former was the No.1 pick a year later.
They have played against each other since they were teenagers. The duo finally teamed up during the Lakers’ 2019-20 championship-winning season. Unfortunately, post their victory, Howard left for the Sixers on a one-year deal.
