Chicago Bulls dominated the 90s with six NBA championships, including two three-peats. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were the driving force behind the Bulls’ success at the time. However, despite incredible chemistry on the court, Jordan and Pippen weren’t the best of friends off the court.

Pippen and Jordan have been engaged in a two-decade-long feud with each other. While Pippen has been vocal about his thoughts about Jordan, ‘MJ’ has been rather quiet.

Despite their poor relations off the court, no one can deny that they were one of the best duos in the game’s history. NBA legend Gary Payton recently claimed that Pippen and LeBron James were better than Jordan.

Who’s better than Jordan?

Former NBA star Gary Payton recently attended an interview on DJVlad TV. During the conversation, he compared Pippen with LeBron and claimed that they both were better than Jordan.

“I think Pippen, as what people don’t understand, is when we compare Michael Jordan and LeBron. It’s no comparison with basketball players. LeBron was a better all-around basketball player, and that’s what Scottie Pippen was,” Payton said.

“He’s got his credit. He knows what he was, and I know what he was in basketball. Players and people who know basketball understands how that Bulls team wouldn’t have been a Bulls team without him on it.”

Payton also added that Pippen was furious at the way he was showcased on ‘The Last Dance’. Jordan definitely played an important role in bringing those championships to Chicago. And, they didn’t win any championship without Jordan on their side.
