Chalmers was with the Heat for seven full seasons, before signing with the Grizzlies in 2015. He was a starter for the Heat during their two championship-winning seasons. He started 64 games during the 2011-12 season and 77 games during the 2012-13 season.

However, things didn’t turn out how Chalmers expected and he had to try his luck in the Italian League. The 35-year-old has set his sight at the NBA again and has signed with Denver Nuggets‘ affiliate. Playing the G-League will provide him a good opportunity and a platform to impress NBA teams and prove that he is capable of playing in the NBA again. The Grand Rapids Gold will play NBA G League Ignite on December 19.
