When Halle Berry was caught stalking Kobe Bryant during a game

Los Angeles is perhaps one of the biggest markets for the NBA. With an impeccable arena in the Staples center, it is not a surprise to see why pop artists to actors have been a regular feature in the arenas.

2005 was no different. In a game between the Laker and the Dallas Mavericks, popular Hollywood actress and Oscar winner Halle Berry was spotted courtside. In a tense situation Kobe was conversing with the referees regarding a call.

While the cameras did show Bryant, Halle Berry’s reaction truly spurned NBA fans. Watching the 5-time champion, Berry couldn’t help but start blushing and had a smirk on her face as well.

The actress even spoke about Kobe in an interview the same evening. When asked about who her favorite team was, Berry said, “I’m a big Lakers fan, that’s for sure. A big Lakers fan.” The Oscar-winning actress was later asked who her favorite player was and she said, “Kobe… And Caron Butler.”

The obsession with Kobe was really apparent in the pictures. As for the game, the Lakers ultimately prevailed with a 100-95 scoreline. Bryant, as usual, was the star of the show scoring a game high 36 points.
