Ever since the playoffs of the 2020-21 season concluded, the NBA has been a wild ride of free agent signings and trades in the off-season. The biggest question mark though has been on the future of Ben Simmons.
Simmons who had a terrible run in the playoffs, has certainly made his intentions clear as he has not showed up neither in the training camp and pre-season despite not struggling with any injuries.
While the 76ers have been pretty adamant with their decision to let go off Simmons, it seems like the Australian is hell bent to move away from the team even willing to give up majority of his salary this season.

Insider proposes wild Ben Simmons trade
With Ben Simmons’ trade looking imminent, rumors have been pretty rampant. But it is not only Simmons who is involved in the market with names like Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving and Bradley Beal all being seen as potential pieces for a potential trade.
Bleacher Report’s Tim Daniels certainly knows his way through trades and in his recent article proposed a wild trade. Involving a total of whooping five teams and multiple All-Stars, the trade sees the futures of multiple teams turn upside down.

With Irving going to the Sacramento Kings, Wizards adding the likes of CJ McCollum and Buddy Hield, Blazers adding Ben Simmons, Nets adding De’Aaron Fox and 76ers receiving Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal, this trade will certainly have major implications on the league.
Involving a total of 13 players and 7 picks in the process, the trade is absolutely wild. Although the thought behind the same is certainly incredible and might be considered a win for all the teams involved, adding so many teams in the process will be a major hiccup. Given the number of transactions that will have to take place for this trade to occur, the chances of this trade to occur is almost impossible.

Twitter reacts to the proposed 5-team deal
Twitter went absolutely berserk after seeing the proposed deal emerged. From 76ers fans to some other fans absolutely mad about losing their star, NBA twitter certainly had its fair share of reactions.
I’m not trading Dame for Seth Curry and a bunch picks

Portland is the only team who says no 100% to this deal, they are getting robbed. It’s relatively fair for the rest of the teams tho, but Portland would need more compensation in order to make this deal have even a chance of going through

We don’t need Fox anyways, we already have Kyrie

This is horrendous for the Kings lmaooo

I mean it actually doesn’t seem like that bad if trade except Portland loses both their star guards for worse. Simmons for Lillard isn’t really the problem, but giving away Mcollum for Seth Curry won’t work out.
