LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh formed one of the best trios in the NBA history at Miami Heat. The trio went on to win two championships together in Miami. That Miami Heat side from the early 2010s is among the greatest NBA teams ever assembled.
King James and Dwyane Wade share a special bond of friendship between them. The two entered the NBA in the same year, in 2003. James was the 1st overall pick, while the Heat picked Wade 5th overall. However, despite being close friends, they played on different sides till 2010. But James joined the Heat in 2010 and got united with his friend Wade.

Miami Heat reached the NBA Finals in the duo’s first season together. However, they were still trying to figure out their roles and lost to the Mavericks in the Finals. An old picture of Wade and James working out went viral during their stint with the Heat. Wade, who is now retired, opened up on the picture that was taken ahead of the Heat’s Finals tie vs Spurs in 2013.

Dwyane Wade opens up on LeBron James and him pushing each other ahead of the 2013 NBA finals
Former NBA star Dwyane Wade recently appeared for an interview on the ‘Jay Shetty Podcast’. During the podcast, Jay Shetty asked Wade about the viral picture of him and James working out. Wade said that he and James pushed each other while working out.
“The whole training aspect of it, LeBron and I being two great players and being two great friends, pushing each other,” Dwyane Wade said.
“You know that photo was right before game one of the 2013 NBA finals. And we knew that it was going to be on us to lead this team and we knew we were about to be in a dogfight. Because we were playing the San Antonio Spurs and they were going to test us physically and mentally and emotionally in all the fields. So that was getting ourselves stilled and prepared for what this series was about to hand us.”

The Heat bounced back next season and won the championship by beating the Thunder in the NBA Finals. James and Wade powered the Heat to a 2nd straight championship in 2013 as they beat the Spurs in seven games.

James, Wade, and Bosh’s partnership guided the Heat to four straight NBA Finals and managed to win two of them. However, James left the Heat in 2014 for Cleveland Cavaliers and Wade retired in 2019. The two are basketball icons and legends, apart from being great friends.
