Dwayne Johnson, also known to the WWE Universe as “The Rock” drops a massive shout-out to an NBA Team. The San Antonio Spurs’ coyote mascot dressed up as a former look of Dwayne Johnson from his WWE Days. After almost two weeks of trying to get Johnson to notice, he finally caught his attention.
Subsequently, he was so impressed that he took to Instagram to give a shout-out to the team. This tribute clearly brought back the old days for Johnson. This is what he posted on Instagram for the Spurs’ mascot.

Dwayne Johnson impressed with a tribute from an NBA Team
It is an undeniable fact that Dwayne Johnson has contributed a lot to the American Entertainment Industry. Be it as a pro wrestler, as an actor, or even as a rapper. He recently released a rap song that struck the streets by storm. Hearing the legend’s flow probably brought tears to the eyes of WWE fans. The world is lucky to be bearing witness to such an incredible set of talents from him.
Therefore the San Antonio Spurs gave a tribute to this legend. In response, Johnson called their mascot “The most electrifying mascot of the NBA”. However, he hilariously described himself as looking like a “Buff Lesbian Lunch Lady”. Indeed, the legend was grateful for a memorable tribute to the icon’s formidable career. This came after a series of photographs were published by the Spurs Mascot to try and get The Rock’s attention. Once he responded, there was nothing but gratitude from the legend’s side.

As a native of Miami, Johnson is a supporter of the Miami Heat especially during the days of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. They even presented him a personalized jersey from the Miami Heat after they won the NBA championship.

He has tweeted several times with the #HeatNation which shows he follows the team. Nevertheless, that does not make the tribute any less significant for Dwayne.
