Damian Lillard has a massive PPG against the Lakers
In a minimum of ten games played against the 16-time champs, Lillard is the fourth player to have the highest PPG average against the purple and gold. He’s just overtaken current Los Angeles star and five-time league MVP, LeBron James.
Lillard has made a stunning entry as the fourth-best scorer against the Lakers. He is preceded by the likes of Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Wilt Chamberlain. As per StatMuse, Dame Lillard has played 27 games against the purple and gold, and is currently averaging 27.7 points.

Michael Jordan is just ahead of him with a 28.9 point average in the 26 games that he’s played. Moreover, Kareem, who won five of his six championships playing for the Lakers, has the second-best PPG against them, with 31.1.

The legendary Wilt Chamberlain ranks first in the list. The four-time league MVP has a 39.5 PPG average in 86 games against the Los Angeles Lakers. Now, Damian Lillard is the latest player to have gained a position on the list owing to his spectacular season with the Lakers.
