However, it is Paul’s vision, passing, leadership, and willingness to do everything it takes to win that puts him right up there with Curry.
Stephen Curry revealed an eye-opening story about one of his pickup basketball encounters with Chris Paul. This story is from before Curry even logged his first NBA minute. Curry reportedly revealed this story where a pick-up game was on the line and he was facing against Chris Paul. Curry said that Paul fouled him several times just to get the ball, even in a game where there were no consequences.

While retrospecting and talking to The Athletic, Curry reportedly narrated: “Every game you play should matter that much,”. “Whether it’s an NBA game or a pickup game in the summer at a gym he has named after him at his school. You learn a lot about the will to win. It’s not manipulating the game. Everyone knows the different rules. Use them to help you win. The competitive nature is crazy. It’s real, no matter what.”

We widely regarded Chris Paul as a point god for a reason. Conventionally, a point guard is supposed to have the best vision and passing skills on the court. And Chris Paul undoubtedly has the best of both these skills. Therefore making him a pain for any opposition he goes up against.
However, there are only a few people in the NBA who can compete with Stephen Curry for being the best point guard in the league. Chris Paul tops that list to be fair. He almost single-handedly led the Phoenix Suns’ star offensive duo of Booker and Ayton into the NBA Finals last year.
