The NBA recently released the list of best 76 players in the 75-year history of the league. Every list of such ends up being controversial as some great players may miss out on these lists. Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson missed out on the top 76 and he expressed his frustration on his social media.

The Warriors star, who is working hard on his rehabilitation after missing 2 seasons due to injuries, was a shocking omission from the top 76 list. He said that he is ‘sick of the disrespect’ and called the list ‘stupid’. In fact, Klay’s frustration is, indeed, warranted. He is a three-time NBA champion and is one of the best shooters in the history of the game.

Warriors coach and teammates also expressed their disagreement with the list. However, that is now in the past, and the Warriors trolled Klay by hanging a number 77 jersey in his locker. This has sparked some hilarious reactions from NBA Twitter.

NBA excluded both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green from the list while Steph Curry‘s name appeared. Warriors coach Steve Kerr later admitted that Curry could be the ‘culprit behind the prank.

“You have to have humor about everything. His teammates obviously got that done to have a laugh with him,” Kerr said.

Draymond Green, who also missed out on the top 76, said that he was more ‘frustrated’ over the omission of Klay than himself.

“I’m more frustrated for Klay than I am for myself, there are not many people that can do what Klay does on the basketball court and with his resume,” Draymond said after the Warriors’ win over the LA Clippers.
