Los Angeles Clippers registered their 17th win of the season as they beat Sacramento Kings 105-89 at the Golden 1 Center. They have been in top form recently and are on .531 this season so far. Clearly, they miss their star small forward Kawhi Leonard, who is out due to a leg injury.
Kawhi Leonard underwent surgery of the ACL on his right knee in July this year. He was sidelined indefinitely after a successful surgery. Many thought that Kawhi will miss the entire 2021-22 campaign due to the injury. However, the 30-year-old star reiterated that he desires to come back this season itself.
There haven’t been many developments on his comeback. However, recently there has been some positive news regarding the same. Clippers executive Jerry West has answered some interesting questions regarding Kawhi’s return which might hype up the Clippers fans.

Jerry West provides a major update on Kawhi Leonard returning from injury
Jerry West recently appeared for an interview on ‘The TK Show Podcast‘ with The Athletic. During the interview, The Athletic’s Tim Kawakami asked Jerry about Kawhi’s possible return.
To this, Jerry replied: “I have to say, I’ve never seen a harder working person in my life. If you look at him now, he looks great.”
“Doing things that I didn’t expect he could do. But I’m not a doctor, and certainly don’t know what the ongoing problems for not being in tip-top shape, ready to play a much quicker and agile game are, but just watching him, my goodness, if you watch him walk around, you would never know that he had that operation,” West added.
