What does this mean for the Lakers?
With LeBron James out for at least the next week, his earliest expected return is against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He will miss the games against Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, Charlotte Hornets, and the Miami Heat.
Therefore, in his absentia, the Lakers roster stacked with future Hall of Famers will need to step up. After all, it took a fourth-quarter run from LeBron James to prevent the Lakers from losing to a young Houston Rockets.
We expect Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis to step up as their leader on the floor needs some rest. Carmelo Anthony will look to continue his impressive form as he aims to climb the all-time scoring ladder even more.

Russell Westbrook and Avery Bradley as the guards. Carmelo Anthony and Anthony Davis as forwards. And DeAndre Jordan at center. Davis might play at five, resulting in Bazemore starting instead of Jordan.
