The Lakers faced a tough loss against the defending champions tonight. Ending what the Bucks might describe as an injury-ridden run of games as their big three finally played today. The Lakers are still playing without LeBron James but are optimistic about his return soon.

In his absence, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook lead the roster in almost all aspects of the game. However, even they had to rely on an inexperienced Talen Horton Tucker who is having an impressive run of form, to deliver on the scoring end.

Therefore, it is natural that a loss in a sub-par performance will draw negative or critical reviews between teammates. And according to Davis, the league hasn’t seen the potential of a fully healthy Lakers yet.

What does this win mean for the Bucks?

Injury woes have struck both these teams as both faced several injury problems recently. For the Bucks, their main trio has barely played any minutes together this season so far. Ever since the first game of the season, Jrue Holiday has struggled with injury woes. And once he returned, it was Middleton who missed games.

Therefore, this is the first time this trio is playing together in a while now. And evidently, their chemistry helped the Bucks take the lead at the end of the first half and deliver the final blow at the end of the game.

However, one standout feature in tonight’s game was Giannis‘ dominant performance. Giannis Antetokounmpo went off for 28 points in the first half itself. Including some incredible defensive plays requiring a lot of hustle and grind.

And when have we ever known the Greek Freak for anything but that? He ended the night with 47 points. His mindset is as strong an asset for him as his body. The never-give-up attitude makes him stand out from others.
