As the NBA 2021-22 season begins, Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers seem to be headed towards an ugly breakup. Simmons has been looking for a way out of the team, missing practices and games. While his arrival in Philadelphia was indeed a surprise, the 25-year-old refuses to participate in any activity, desperate to part way.

Simmons’ rift with the team began after their Game 7 loss to the Atlanta Hawks last season. What no one expected, however, was how quickly things escalated. The young point guard apparently is desperate to leave, not looking to play even one game with the team. As a result, he has missed their training camp, practices, meetings, and also the season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans.
