Adam Stern, a motorsport reporter tweeted, “Celebrities expected to attend @F1Miami include LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Pharrell, Dan Marino, David Beckham, James Corden, the Williams sisters, and Wyclef”

Fans react to the decision of LeBron James

Daily Mail reported LeBron James will be one of the main men to be seen at the stands. Fans question his integrity as he is expected to be present for the race weekend whereas his team couldn’t qualify for the NBA playoffs. LA Lakers, who clinched the 2019-20 titles have failed to qualify for the playoffs (after getting knocked out in R1 last year) this time around.

James being one of their top players, received criticism over his preference at the F1 Venue. Lakers lost their chance to qualify after losing 121-110 to the Phoenix Suns in the first week of April. That being said, LeBron did not have that bad a season, individually.

The season has been an injury-hit and extremely disappointing for LA Lakers. Despite acquiring Russell Westbrook to pair up with LeBron James, the year ended up with nothing for them.

To top it all, some fans now hint that King James should not enjoy his time off, at least not at an F1 circuit. In true sense, it actually a little rare and odd to not have he 4x NBA Champion in the playoffs.
