Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder recently fought their third fight, which was billed as ‘Once and For All’. Tyson Fury emerged victorious via 11th round KO and has closed the chapter on their rivalry.
Deontay Wilder is an American boxer and had a lot of support from the USA. However, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid supported Tyson Fury in this fight and took a dig at ‘The Bronze Bomber.
The first contest from their trilogy ended in a controversial draw back in 2018. They fought again in a rematch last year where Fury emerged victorious via 7th round KO.

Wilder wanted a rematch, and it was earlier scheduled to happen in July this year, but was postponed due to the pandemic. However, now they’ve finally sealed off the trilogy and Wilder just couldn’t prove his supremacy. He had his moments, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
After the bell, several NBA stars reacted to the fight through their social media. Many stars heaped praise on ‘The Gypsy King‘ after winning. Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was no different. He praised Tyson Fury after the win through Twitter. But in the latest tweet, he targeted Deontay Wilder and joked about drug testing him.
Joel Embiid fires shots at Deontay Wilder
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is an avid Tyson Fury supporter. After the bout, he tweeted: “NIGHT NIGHT WILDER!!!! THE GYPSY KING WOW.”
But it wasn’t enough. Embiid put out another tweet and took shots at Wilder again. His tweet read: “Anyways they gotta drug test Wilder lmao.”

Embiid is a boxing fan, and he had an eye on the iconic tussle. He was in awe of Tyson Fury’s performance in the decider and expressed it on his Twitter. But he trolled Wilder in the process. Deontay Wilder has a lot of support from the US and some fans couldn’t stand Embiid supporting Tyson, who is British.
Wilder had an unbeaten record before fighting Fury. But he lost twice and drew once since then, which makes his record 42-2-1. While Fury will maintain his unbeaten record with 31 wins and 1 draw from 32 fights.

Tyson Fury defended his WBC title in an exciting fashion and settled the rivalry with Wilder. It’s ironic, as Wilder is known as the KO star, as he has 41 KOs from 42 wins. But he has now been knocked out twice by Fury, who has 22 KO wins from 31 wins.
