Last night, the LA Angels lost yet another game of the season. The Phil Nevin-led side scored just 5 from the plate, while the Dodgers dominated the Angels throughout the game and scored 10. Although the Angels suffered another traumatic defeat, two-way phenom Shohei Ohtani again stole the limelight with his red-hot form.
While the Dodgers maintain their freeway streak by sweeping the Angels in the two-game series. And Just like before, the Angels’ chances of crossing the postseason line are slim to none. But as earlier mentioned, despite the defeat, Ohtani left his mark in the game. And it is a pity that despite showcasing such a brilliant performance from the plate, the Japanese slugger did not find any support from his teammates in the ballpark.
Ohtani Shines again on the ground

Ohtani seems to continue maintaining his performance. The Japanese sensation hit yet another homer in one of the last innings against Dodgers pitcher Michael Grove. And, adding one more dinger to his top list of the MLB this season. Ohtani also singled, tripled, and had three RBIs for the game, including a sacrifice fly in the final run. But, despite his best efforts, the Angels continue to disappoint, as they lost their fifth game in a row, bringing their stats to.500 PCT with little to no chance of qualifying for the postseason.

On the other hand, Otani’s career has never been better. From hitting the biggest and personal best home run of the season against Arizona to being the best at both pitching and hitting, Otani has become the face of baseball. However, despite so much potential, Otani’s career seems to not be going in the right direction, as the Angels may not qualify for the postseason given their current form.
And knowing that Ohtani’s contract with the Angels will end after this season, fans desperately want the player to deserve the platform he most certainly deserves. After the game, many fans displayed their disappointment in the Angels’ ever-declining performance.

Overall, Ohtani continues to shine irrespective of his circumstance. Now the fans await to see Ohtani’s potential bloom at its finest as they hope the player will change the team next season.
