1. Paul Pogba

The 21 year old French midfielder is one of the best young talents and is already considered as one of best in his positions. Juventus director Nedved has already said that Barcelona is interested in the Frenchman’s signature. Though a bit different from Xavi’s style of play, he can be a great asset to Barcelona.

2. Koke

The young and dynamic midfielder from Atletico Madrid is one of the best upcoming Spanish talents and is already dubbed as the new Xavi. It wouldn’t come as a surprise if Barcelona sign him, considering the quality that Koke has displayed recently and his similarities to Xavi. He has been among the top play makers in Spain for about two years now.

3. Santi Cazorla

The Arsenal play maker has been constantly linked with Barcelona throughout the season and has been one of the top players around. He would be an ideal replacement but age would come as a negative factor in the transfer as the Spaniard is already 30 and Barcelona would want a player who can give at least 5 years to the club.

4. Ilkay Gundagon

The German midfielder has been one of the backbones for Borrusia Dortmund’s side and is an excellent player. Even though he was injured for most of last season, he has been finding his form slowly and steadily this season.
