Wicket-keeper-batsman Litton Das and left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman have been named in the Bangladesh ODI squad for the upcoming 3-match series against India. Also, an uncapped opener, Rony Talukdar has been included in the 14-member squad.
Litton Das had taken over the glove-work from Mushfiqur Rahim for the lone Test against India. He has featured in 11 T20s for Bangladesh and will be hoping to make his ODI debut against India on 18th June at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, where the first One-Day match will be played.
Mustafizur Rahman came to limelight after his impressive bowling display against Pakistan in the only T20 between the two nations. He scalped 2 wickets for 20 runs in his quota of 4 overs. The left-arm pacer is believed to be a genuine wicket-taker and has the potential to disturb the strong Indian batting line-up with his swing.
India will be playing 3 ODIs against Bangladesh on June 18, 21 and 24, all three in Mirpur at the same venue.
