Badminton Association of India is likely to face legal action over termination of agreement with the promoters of Indian Badminton League .

The promoters, Sporty Solutionz Private Limited, considered this act to be “defying all logic and legalities” in their open letter to their fans. The company claimed to honour all its commitments and agreed to fulfil the demands which, as per the letter, should not have been part of the agreement in the first. SSPL also claimed that BAI demanded 50 crore as bank guarantee with a 15 days notice in the annual meeting held last year. The company is said to have faced huge financial losses that has put it in an embarrassing position in front of its associates.

However ,the promoters are open to a dialogue. “However, in the best interest of IBL, players and sports lovers SSPL is open to dialogue for an amicable resolution of the issue. SSPL is also open for a discussion on any platform,”the company said
