According to reports, heavy rains can threaten the race in Miami. Weather reports say that there is a high probability of rains over southern Florida this weekend.
AccuWeather’s Meteorologist said, “A west wind aloft combined with the system over the area can allow showers and thunderstorms to develop throughout the day,”
However, The cloudy weather will limit the sunshine and can help the drivers beat the heat and could keep temperatures inside the race cars slightly cooler. Last week, NASCAR reported multiple incidents of drivers facing health issues because of the extreme heat.
