Earlier this week, SypherPK had few things to say about Fortnite on his Twitch stream. He raised a few issues Fortnite is facing both on the casual and the competitive side. Later, Ninja tweeted a video where he chimed in with SypherPK’s opinions claiming the video “hit hard.”

Moving on a few days, Aydan, an ex-player for Ghost Gaming, has had his say on certain things he feels are currently unfit in Epic Games’ battle royale. Aydan, drawing inspiration from SypherPK’s take on the present state of the game, also uploaded a video on his YouTube channel captioned “What Fortnite needs to fix…”

He begins the video by being grateful to Epic Games for the opportunities he’s been given. He mentions Epic have done genuinely enough for him both with tournaments and content creation.

Diving deep into the issues surrounding Fortnite, the prize pool in the current competitive scene is split diversely among several players. Breaking the prize pool among the top 5 or top 10 players is one way of rectifying it. He states the developers want the game to be newb-friendly adventuresome for all the masses. According to Aydan, Fortnite Champion Series, in its present format is easier to qualify for as consistency is the only key attribute. Online Qualifiers over several weeks with a handful of players qualifying every week are the way to go. We all have witnessed Fortnite host some of the most significant LAN events, in it’s prime. A Common Problem Controller Players Face

Aydan has played competitive Fortnite on a controller at the highest level. He highlighted a central issue for the controller player-base that hasn’t been addressed by the developers at Epic in months. Players on controllers don’t have the option to bind a specific button for picking up a downed player. PC players have the upper hand on this matter, as they can bind this in-game feature to a specific key. Developers at Epic have not addressed the issue, yet it’s been months they patched in the mechanics to pick up a downed player.

Unlike some of the most notable personalities in the Fortnite, Aydan didn’t bash Epic for their recent inconsistencies. But like most of them, he too underlined the lack of communication between the creators of Fortnite and its player-base. Even though the issues prevail and he doesn’t have the most fun playing it, Fortnite is Aydan’s favorite game.

Moreover, he goes on to mention how Epic no longer provides patch notes for controllers anymore. We can only hope that Epic Games will come up with something to remedy this situation sooner than later.
