Sourabh Singh is the Editor-in-Chief at EssentiallySports. A Sports Management Diploma holder, Sourabh started his career in 2015 when he joined a flourishing Media Startup freshly out of college. After spending time as a Sports Writer who primarily covered Tennis and the off-field world of American athletes, he went on to work as a Sub-Editor. Few years later, an offer from retail brand Decathlon Sports got him to shift bases. There, he worked as an Omni Sport Leader who would create blog stories on the journey of local players. Then, with the onset of pandemic, this sports enthusiast joined EssentiallySports and has been associated with the publishing house for 4 years now. At ES, Sourabh contributed close to 1800 articles in NBA and UFC divisions as a Senior Writer. One of his articles on Michael Jordan saw the former Tinder Vice President Jeff Morris share it on his Twitter handle. Later, he joined the editorial department as head of the unit and set out on building a team of talented and experienced editors. Away from work, Sourabh is either preparing for a marathon, riding a bike uphill, or shooting hoops even as he often finds no rim.
