Aaditya Krishnamurthy is an NBA & NFL journalist for EssentiallySports, before which he worked at BusinessWorld magazine. He has been a fan of Basketball for over 10 years now, since Shaquille O’Neal was a Phoenix Suns player. During his time at Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, he started a sports magazine for the college called the Overtime Tribune and hosted the Overtime Tribune Podcast until he graduated. He still makes sporadic appearances on the show. During his undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on International Relations, he wrote a thesis titled 'The Impact of Domestic and International Politics on Sports, Events, Organizations and Franchises'. When he isn’t writing about basketball or football, he is furthering his NBA MyCareer, attempting to surpass Bill Russell for rings in the game. He staunchly believes that Derrick Rose would be a Top-3 player today had he not gotten injured.
