Team News
India
Team India is currently dealing with multiple injury scares. Rohit Sharma injured his left shoulder while fielding in the last game. Even a short-pitched ball hit Shikhar Dhawan on the rib cage and he did not take the field as well. Along with them, Rishabh Pant is still under observation for concussion. Moreover, Navdeep Saini was limping after getting some injury in his ankle in Rajkot.
However, the good news is that none of these injuries are serious and they might play in the 3rd ODI. Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer has failed to impress with the bat so as Manish Pandey. Both might be dropped for the decider.
While Rishabh Pant is expected to return in the team, it will be interesting to see whether he dons the wicketkeeping gloves or KL Rahul does the job. Rahul has impressed everyone with his wicketkeeping skill alongside his batting. Virat Kohli can include Shivam Dube in the team to provide the sixth bowling option, which might become crucial on a flat pitch in the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
