Hamilton Starts on Pole, Vettel 2nd and Bottas 3rd
Lewis Hamilton nabbed a stunning pole position at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. Championship rival, Sebastian Vettel will line up alongside the Englishman for the race. Hamilton’s teammate Valtteri Bottas lines up in 3rd with Daniel Ricciardo next to him. Kimi Raikkonen lines up 5th despite setting an identical time to Ricciardo. Esteban Ocon qualified 7th but moves up a place due to Max Verstappen’s penalty. Hamilton set a lap time of 1:33.108.
