When Augusto Sakai said that he was not satisfied with a split decision win in his last fight and promised to improve upon that performance, little did anyone think that he would do what he did on Saturday night in UFC Vancouver. He knocked out his opponent Marcin Tybura hardly one minute into the fight. It took him just 59 seconds to flatten Tybura with a series of right hands.

“I expected that I was going to end the fight in the first round. I did not expect it was going to be that quick, but I am very happy that it ended very quickly,” Sakai said in the post fight interview.
After the massive victory, he was asked what opponents he is looking forward to and he said that he would be ready for anything UFC puts forth.
“I have no names. Whatever UFC wants, I’ll be ready,” he said. Of course, someone on the rankings would be amazing, but (I’ll fight) whoever UFC wants.
Sakai is one of the most exciting prospects in the MMA world and he said he is always ready for a challenge.
