The light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones takes on yet another contender in the main event of UFC 247. This time it is the Devastator, Dominick Reyes who will be trying to dethrone arguably the greatest mixed martial artists of all time.
After beating fighters over multiple generations, Jon Jones has separated himself from the rest of the fighters. He has beaten legends such as Lyoto Machida, Daniel Cormier, Shogun Rua, and the list goes on. But all those victories have not come without any adversities inside the octagon. And it’s needless to say that the octagon is not the only place Jones had to overcome adversities.
Jon Jones has had a controversial life outside the octagon. Jones became the youngest UFC champion and it was believed that he would rule the light heavyweight division for years to come. And sure he did. But the botched drug tests have left a stain in his flawless legacy. Even though Jones retires unbeaten there will be some arguments against the notion that he is the greatest to ever do it.

But this might be a tough fight for Jones. A lot will depend on which version of Jon Jones we are going to see inside the octagon at UFC 247.
