After publicly confirming their intention to compete together following their breakup, they achieved a significant milestone for their country by reaching a new level of success in Paris. Not content with simply making their nation proud, Siniakova and Machac added to the intrigue by hinting at undisclosed aspects of their relationship.

The Czech Republican duo defeated Wang Xinyu and Zhang Zhizhen by 6-2, 5-7, and 10-8 in a match tiebreaker Friday night. Siniakova and Machac shared a celebratory hug, a typical display of camaraderie for winning doubles teams. They were seen consoling each other as tears rolled down their eyes after a heartfelt victory.

The duo’s romantic relationship has been the subject of much speculation on social media. Reports suggested they were once a couple but may have since parted ways. When a reporter inquired about their current relationship status during the post-match press conference, Machac’s visible irritation made it clear he was tired of addressing the topic.

While Machac rolled his eyes to the questions, Siniakova laughingly responded, “That’s our personal life, so you don’t need to know that. We like when you are confused.”  Machac again joined Siniakova and left the fans in surprise when he funnily concluded by saying, “This is top secret.”

For context. After meeting on a trip, Siniakova and Machac connected instantly and began dating in 2020. Despite inspiring the next generation with love, Siniakova revealed during her Prague Open tour that she and Machac are no longer together. This news broke people’s hearts and left them anxious that the duo refused to play for their country at the Olympics together. “Yes, it’s true, but this is my private matter. Of course, we will play; we are professionals,” Siniakova told the media. However, the recent gesture makes it safe to say “they’re back together”.

From sports lens, Siniakova is famous for her skills in doubles. Together with her beau Machac, it seemed that she reached an amazing scale of confidence that helped her achieve this victory. Not only did they show their amazing coordination on the court but also the couple revealed the boss in their relationship.

Therefore playing mixed doubles in Paris was very special for them.

While Siniakova and Machac’s gesture started many rumors, Machac revealed they are staying at the same Olympic village, but in separate rooms. “We’re not roommates – we’re professionals! So at least for this week we don’t sleep together,” Machac said. However, Siniakova is still in charge of the team.

“I’m the boss! On and off the court. Tomas says I give him a lot more pressure than any other partner,” Siniakova mentioned. However, Machac happily agreed to the discipline and said, “But I don’t have a problem with pressure.”
