Did Nadal deserve the taunt after his Olympic heartbreak, or was it just unsportsmanlike behavior?

You don’t get the chance to meet the ‘King‘ every day, but when you do, make sure he’s not coming back after losing a battle! Recently, Columbian tennis player, Camila Osorio had a ‘fun encounter‘ with the ‘King of Clay‘ after her R2 match. The 22-year-old Columbian will face Danielle Collins in R3 and she was on cloud nine after defeating Dayana Yastremska in the second match. So, during the post-match interview, she was spotted with all smiles until the cameras flipped towards Rafael Nadal, who was passing by her after his loss to Novak Djokovic. How did she react after seeing the ‘King‘ from such a close distance?

Well, surprisingly the 22-year-old had an unusual reaction to a defeated Nadal! The Spaniard passed by without speaking to the press or even the Columbian tennis player. Initially, it seemed as if Osorio was a bit interested in speaking to him, but then as he walked past her, Camila Osorio jokingly said, “Goodbye, my friend.” Then a reporter reminded her, “He lost, you won.” To this, Osorio replied, “Ah! So that’s why he’s a little pissed off“.

It was quite a funny moment for all those who were present at the venue at that moment, but for Nadal? It was really a bad day at the office. Novak Djokovic defeated him by 6-1,6-4 in the second-round match. Reflecting his thoughts on the match, Rafael Nadal later admitted Djokovic outclassed him in every aspect of the game in that match.
