Adhering to his obligations as both ambassador and investor, the 20-single Grand Slam champion recently had to make a stellar return to the tennis court after his retirement. But that’s not all; the 42-year-old legend was also joined by the current generation of tennis stars, Iga Świątek and Ben Shelton. Here are some glimpses of the Swiss former tennis player’s guest appearance at a special tennis event.

Roger Federer returns to the court thanks to his business endeavors

During his illustrious tennis journey, the Swiss maestro seldom skipped a beat to enthrall the audience with his on-court prowess and personality. Now, even after his retirement, Roger Federer is ardently staying true to his legacy as he recently delighted a slew of young fans at a tennis event organized by the sportswear brand, On.

Being a master of the game, the former tennis ace shared his insights with the young kids who are part of the youth development community, Kings County Tennis League. On the tennis court in Fort Greene Park, Federer was joined by the current generation of tennis stars, Iga Świątek and Ben Shelton, who are also the brand ambassadors of On.

The public took notice after the official Instagram page of KC Tennis League shared snippets of the guest appearances of the tennis ‘champions’. In their recent Instagram story, they also shared a picture of Federer, Świątek, and Shelton posing together on the court. The caption of the picture said, “Big talent out in BK”.

The young tennis stars also played a “casual doubles” match with the children who were part of the KC tennis league’s event. However, this is not the first time that the 20-time singles Grand Slam champion was there at the youth development tennis academy.

Federer has previously volleyed alongside the kids

In one of their previous Instagram posts, KC Tennis League shared a sneak peek of Federer who was enlightening the kids about his stellar backhand strokes. The Swiss Maestro was there at the youth development tennis academy owing to his sponsorship obligations to Uniqlo.

Notably, the youth tennis league hailed the former tennis ace in their Instagram post. The caption said, ” Wow wow wow, We’re still in awe of this amazing day of tennis, art, and culture with @rogerfederer, brought together by @uniqlousa at @momaps1.”

Later, they also opened up about how their students got to learn from Federer about some of his on-court skills and tactics.
