Notably, Roddick made a video earlier after a series of racket smashing incidents that were taking place during the Indian Wells and Miami Open. In that video, he made a demonstration how to smash a racket in a proper way. According to him, he used to smash a racket in a different way and that’s why he only received a code violation only one time in his career.
