The former world no. 1 players will start the event with a 3 set exhibition match. 4-time singles Grand Slam winner Kim Clijsters retired from competitive tennis in 2020. Her opponent, Caroline Wozniacki also retired in 2020 with the Australian Open as her farewell tournament.

Both players have faced each other total of 3 times in the major tournaments. Kim Clijsters won all the 3 matches to date. Though this match would be a fun exhibition game, it would be satisfying for Caroline to get the better of the Belgian for once.
