Tennis stars react to NFL Playoffs game
The NFL playoffs surely are a sight to behold. The best teams in the league go head to head against each other in matches to remember. Moreover, there are always many shocking results, and comeback runs that nobody saw coming.
That was exactly the case today, when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were down 3-20 at one point against the Los Angeles Rams. However, there was much football left to be played in the match, especially for the Buccaneers.

As the Buccaneers went on a 24-10 run in the second half, they fell just short of a victory. Of course, the match itself got the world talking, and the tennis fraternity was no exception. 18-time Grand Slam champion Chris Evert took to Twitter to praise Tom Brady.
This… Brady guy….🤦♀️

Canadian star Eugenie Bouchard tweeted that “this Bucs-Rams game” was one to keep an eye on. NY Times correspondent Christopher Clarey, writer of the biography on Roger Federer, too, was involved.
NFL overtime rule has to change
Both teams deserve a possession, touchdown or no touchdown, particularly when defense is a dirty word

Eugenie Bouchard remembers NFL-induced dates
Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard reacted to a tweet that called back to an old incident. In 2017, Eugenie had agreed to go on a date with a student from the University of Missouri.
This was because the Atlanta Falcons seemed locked-in to win against Tom Brady’s New England Patriots. Thus, for the Patriots, winning seemed like a one-in-a-million shot. This is exactly why the university student asked her out on a date if the Patriots won.
Getting tweets like this neverrrr gets old 🤣🤣🤣 https://t.co/YpegD0PJl5

Bouchard, confident in the Falcons, agreed, only to have the Falcons fall to the Patriots’ comeback by the end of the match. All said and done, the NFL Playoffs had taken another victim with their surprise results and comeback wins.
Today, as the Buccaneers staged their own comeback run to almost clinch the game, someone tweeted asking if there was anyone who was going to ask Eugenie on another date.
“Getting tweets like this neverrrr gets old,” Bouchard tweeted, laughing at the memory of 2017. No matter what, the one thing all athletes and viewers can agree on, is that the NFL playoffs surely get everybody’s hearts racing!
