The Russian tennis sensation has 407, 000K followers on her Instagram and she follows a total of 233 people on the social media platform. Most of the people followed by Kalinskaya are celebrities and iconic tennis players from the WTA and ATP circuits. Among the male tennis players the Russian star follows on Instagram are Australians Alex de Minaur and Matty Reidy, Swiss Roger Federer, and Serbian Novak Djokovic. Well, does that ring a bell?

The star player does not follow her beau Sinner on the social media platform! The situation with Sinner is no different. The Italian tennis sensation who previously followed his girlfriend seems to have unfollowed her as revealed by his following list of 99 people, which does not include Kalinskaya. Questioning the same one user shared a post on X and wrote, “jannik and anna unfollow eachother again??” and soon, the speculations about their breakup started to grow with fans anticipating that the players had parted ways.

As soon as the post gained traction, several users took to the platform sharing their views and assuming the possible reason behind this speculated rumor. While the players remain tight-lipped the internet definitely has its own theory.

Taking to X, one user wrote, “Anna saw what jannik said in that press conference and said “yeah I’m outta here” 😭💀.” Remember, the Italian tennis dynamo engaged in an interview with Esquire and deliberated upon Kalinskaya’s impact on his life. “I don’t think anything has changed. Having a girlfriend is something that either makes you feel good or makes you feel bad. I want it to be something that feels very natural, which comes into my life normally. I can’t afford to change as a player or as a person. That hasn’t happened, that’s why it works,” he said. This surprised many in the tennis community with fans anticipating that these remarks have caused a rift between the two. More such reactions continued to follow. 

Responding to the post, another user wrote, “this happens every 2 days it can’t be a ig bug i’ve been saying it for a long time, it’s becoming ridiculous 💀.” Remember, this is not the first time when such an incident has come to light. Rumors around their breakup took center stage in August this year as well, with fans highlighting that Kalinskaya has unfollowed her beau. However, the couple were soon spotted together and engaged in several romantic gestures,  including a warm kiss at the US Open final, thereby putting an end to these rumors. But more users joined the fray to speculate their relationship status.

“Follow, unfollow 😅 what a drama Sinner, Anna😂,” wrote another user. Remember, Jannik Sinner confirmed his relationship with Kalinskaya in May this year during the French Open. However, he shared that he likes to stay confidential about his personal life and said, “As you know, I don’t like to talk about my private life. I’m with Anna yes. But we keep everything very private. You know me: I won’t talk more than that.” Convening with the conventions, Sinner seems to be silent about the latest rumor too, but fans doubt the reason behind the silence. 

One more user commented on the post and said, “I doubt jannik is even a good bf honestly but i only have so much of information but with what info we have he def isn’t the right one for anna.” Sinner has been in hotwaters for his latest remarks and fans have continued to take sharp digs at him. Soon after he made the remarks about Kalinskaya, he received similar backlash with claims of him being “soulless” growing on the internet. 

Yet another user took a dig at the player and wrote, “Free Anna already,” signifying that the couple should break up if they haven’t already. For now, it would be interesting to see if the star players would come to shut these rumors either with a post or with some romantic gestures on the courts.
