In an interaction with Harper’s Bazaar, dated December 20, Anna Kalinskaya talked about her 2024 season and other life changes. She discussed the challenges she faced due to her hamstring injury last year. “For me, it was a bit shocking, because it was the longest injury I’d had,” she said. However, this period of no play helped her a lot in more ways than one. “I realized how much I missed tennis and how much it gives, how many emotions it gives me, how many different things in my life it brings me, like meeting new people and having your routine. It was, for me, a big realization,” she revealed.

Strangely though, she didn’t say anything about her relationship with Jannik Sinner. Simply put, she declined to entertain any questions based on her love life with the Italian. “In the middle of 2024, she began dating year-end world No. 1 Jannik Sinner. At time of writing, the status of that relationship was unclear. Crystal clear, on the other hand, was the pre-interview instruction to BAZAAR not to raise the topic,” read one of the excerpts from the interview. But what does this imply? Is everything alright between Jannik and Anna? Or have they secretly parted ways without making it official following the rumors of their potential breakup?

I want it to be something that feels very natural, which comes into my life normally. I can’t afford to change as a player or as a person. That hasn’t happened, that’s why it works.”

Following that statement, Kalinskaya didn’t congratulate Sinner when he clinched the season finale in Turin and lifted the winner’s trophy. She was seen enjoying her holiday break in Miami with her friends. In the pictures posted on Instagram, there was no mention of Jannik at all.

If that wasn’t enough, another rumor suggested Jannik coming close to his former girlfriend and influencer Maria Braccini. She was seen during his matches at the ATP Finals last month. It sparked further speculations of him trying to rekindle with Maria after splitting up with Anna. None of these rumors was clarified in any way, thus leading to a complicated situation.
