The 26-year-old Spanish tennis player, Paula Badosa had a tough run this year. Injuries played a major role in her absence this year. Managing to play only eleven matches this year, she missed three out of four major events. But even after having gone through a year that she would like to forget, Badosa didn’t miss the chance to enjoy the little moments of her life.

Paula Badosa recently put up her collage with her mother Mireia Gibert in her Instagram stories for her birthday. Like mother, like daughter, both of them looked like a carbon copy of each other. Let’s find out what Badosa wrote on social media.

Paula Badosa was born in Manhattan, New York, to Spanish parents Josep Badosa Codolar and Mireia Gibert Baro. Both of her parents earlier worked in the fashion industry. Her mother worked as a model and has been featured in various magazines. She has been the cover girl for leading clothing brands in the 90s. Just like fashion, Gibert is equally interested in the racket sport and, in fact, she’s the one who introduced Paula Badosa to tennis at the age of 7.

December 18th marked the birthday of Mireia Gibert, and Paula Badosa wished her on this special day by putting up a story on Instagram. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to the most beautiful mamasita.”

The collage included pictures of young Gibert along with little Paula Badosa. It also included their recent photos, where Badosa shared the stage with her mom for a glamorous photoshoot. Well, Badosa’s love for photoshoots is nothing new.
