Will Smith experienced the biggest moment of his career at the 2022 Oscars. The American actor won his first-ever Academy Award for his role in the film ‘King Richard’. Smith, along with the whole cast and crew of King Richard celebrated his win in the utmost fashion. However, winning the award wasn’t the only thing that got Will in the headlines.
During the award ceremony, all didn’t seem to go well between Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock. The 57-year-old comedian was in between a stand-up set when he told a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Taking offense to the joke, Will Smith took no time, as he stood up, went on the stage, and slapped Chris Rock. He further went on telling the comedian, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth”.

Seeing the incident, the whole world took to their social media accounts, giving their thoughts on the occurrence. On one hand, a number of people criticized Smith for his act. Alike Aleix, Roddick, who is currently working with the Tennis Channel, also refrained from giving his thoughts on the matter.
